Whenever we want to remodel our bathrooms it is always important to not only consider new toilets, tub, showers and/or sinks, but bathroom vanities should be replaced as well.  Sometimes we are doing the bathroom in a whole new décor and the need to consider changing bathroom vanities becomes all the more important.  For instance, if your home is done in modern décor you wouldn’t want to decorate you bathroom in country décor.  Country bathroom vanities would not only be out of place, the styles might even clash.  Similarly, if you have a country home you wouldn’t put modern bathroom vanities in the bathrooms.

Sometimes you want to have a hand in decorating a new home you are having built.  Did you know that they make bathroom vanities anywhere from eighteen inches in height to seventy-two inches and above?  Of course, I don’t think it would be practical to put a vessel sink on a vanity that is taller than you are unless you intend to keep a step ladder nearby.  But bathroom vanities don’t only function as housing for sinks.  Many bathroom vanities hold towels, toiletries, linens, medicine, first aid products and cosmetics.  Some are truly lovely and add an elegant touch to master bathrooms as well as guest bathrooms.

Any home improvement store will have magazines and books with suggestions on bathroom designs.  You can learn how to measure the room to make any changes you might need to make.  Suggestions are often included on what kinds of bathroom cabinets might work best for your needs.  Maybe you don’t want to use a medicine cabinet but want to place a large mirror over the sink.  In a case like this it is all the more important to consider using bathroom vanities large enough for a multi-function cabinet.  Maybe you don’t like the idea of using bathroom vanities as a closet or chest of drawers.  Some vanities are simple tables that function as a dressing table or give the look of being a sink cabinet.  Often bathroom vanities built to look like cabinets under the sink are not purely decorative.  Although they don’t hold anything, they serve to hide unsightly plumbing.

If you have a Home Depot nearby you can probably find what you are looking for there.  They usually carry their own brand of Home Depot bathroom vanities in popular styles.  They can hold sinks or sit independently on another wall to be used as a dressing table or for storage space.  Most people try to find bathroom vanities in popular styles that compliment the décor of the room.  If you can’t find what you are looking for locally or at a Home Depot expo, you might try shopping online where you might even be able to find wholesale bathroom vanities.  Some sites even offer free shipping!  If you are going to look at bathroom vanities in popular styles you might as well try to save some money in the process.
